These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to https://comicpress.online(the "Site") and related services offered by ComicPress("we," "us"). By using the Site or enrolling in our programs, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We provide online educational content, training, and related support for comic writing, storytelling, and publishing topics. Course descriptions, schedules, and deliverables are described at the time of enrollment. We may update instructional materials to improve clarity and accuracy.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. If you enroll on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Site for unlawful, harassing, fraudulent, or misleading purposes
Attempt to circumvent security, access non-public areas, or disrupt the Site
Copy, resell, redistribute, or publicly share course materials except as expressly permitted
Use automated means to scrape or overload the Site without permission

5. Intellectual property

We retain rights in our Site content, branding, curriculum, videos, documents, and other materials ("Materials"). Unless explicitly stated, we grant only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access Materials for your personal learning during enrollment.

You retain ownership of your original work product. You grant us a limited license to use submissions solely to provide feedback and operate the program, as described in enrollment communications.

6. No guaranteed outcomes

Education involves individual effort. We do not guarantee publication, representation, employment, income, audience growth, or any specific commercial result. Testimonials or examples on the Site are illustrative and may not reflect typical results.

7. Fees and taxes

Prices, taxes, and currency details are presented before purchase where applicable. You authorize us and our payment processors to charge amounts agreed at checkout.

8. Refunds

Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

9. Disclaimers

The Site and services are provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. See also our Disclaimer.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising from these Terms or the services will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the specific program giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months before the claim, unless a different minimum applies under mandatory law.

You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your misuse of the services, your content that infringes third-party rights, or your violation of these Terms—except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or operational necessity. You may stop using the Site at any time. Provisions that reasonably should survive will survive termination.

13. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Tokyo, Japan will have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes, unless mandatory consumer protections require otherwise for you as an individual consumer.

We may update these Terms. We will post the revised Terms on the Site and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, where permitted by law.
